Read with the office’s budget, a tenure says who ran the office when its money was spent.

How this was read

Top-level structure from the 2026-06 MENRE org chart; divisions and sections from the per-service charts (2021 for LMS, FMS, EMS and Energy; 2023 for MGS; none for BERDS or AFS). Names from the undated MENRE Directory page. The 2026 chart draws Administrative and Finance Services where the brackets of both Directors General meet; it is placed under the DG for ENR, which is uncertain. The Energy service is "Energy Management and Development Services" on the 2026 chart and directory but "Energy Development Services" on the 2021 chart; the directory lists no director for it. The directory still has a single "Maguindanao Province" PENREO and a Sulu PENREO, while the 2026 chart has PENREOs for Maguindanao del Norte and del Sur and none for Sulu; both directory entries are kept as separate rows. Releases also name MENRE staff (e.g. a Chief Environmental Management Specialist) not tied to a unit; not included. No citizen’s charter (MENRE’s charter page says "will be updated soon").
