Tamburi Falls is one of 2 waterfalls the Maguindanao del Sur provincial government lists for South Upi, alongside Kuhan Falls. Its water drops over the edge of a steep mountain slope into a pool below, and the falls are known for an unusual layered rock formation.

The province says residents of South Upi come for the clean, cold water. South Upi is Teduray country, where the Monom weaving and craft tradition is practised.
