Overview

The field in Bayang where the Sultan of Bayang and his followers made their last stand against American forces in May 1902.

Padang Karbala, the site of Kota Pandapatan, is where the Sultan of Bayang and his followers fought American forces in May 1902. The Bangsamoro heritage commission validated it as a historical site in 2023.

The land is farmed today. Locals point to patches of cement they say belonged to Camp Vicars, the American camp.
