Overview

The grave of the World War II guerrilla leader and lawmaker after whom his town is named, marked by the National Historical Commission.

Salipada K. Pendatun (1912 to 1985) set up the guerrilla movement in Cotabato during World War II and later represented Maguindanao in the Regular Batasang Pambansa from 1984 to 1985.

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines placed a marker at his tomb in 2012. A 2026 travel feature on Maguindanao del Sur names the tomb among the province's historical places.
